First off, if you're not familiar with what Ezeta is doing, let us explain. Ezeta is an Italian brand that, although it hasn’t been around long, is absolutely making waves. They've designed kits for modest teams like La Latina, Alba Roma, and Boreale, for example.
Ezeta Football Jerseys
Despite their sportswear style, these jerseys are truly out of this world, featuring designs that are both extraordinary in quality and complexity. In this case, we’re focusing on the four jerseys made for Boreale FC this season.
We begin with the home kit, inspired by the Battle of the Milvian Bridge, which took place in 312 A.D. and marked both Constantine’s victory over Maxentius and the triumph of Christianity over paganism. Constantine was one of the great emperors of the Roman Empire, and that’s where this inspiration comes from. The design looks fantastic on the field, and we’ve already seen Boreale’s first matches wearing this kit.
For the away kit, we have a representation of Constantine’s ascension and how he became the first Christian emperor. The jersey features the symbol of the Cross in homage to Christ’s monogram, the “Chi-Rho,” along with the famous phrase “In Hoc Signo Vinces” (which roughly translates to "In this sign, you will conquer"), sacred symbols that led Constantine to victory.
Next up is the third kit, another showstopper featuring black and gold colors, symbolizing the night before the battle, when Constantine saw an angel in his dreams instructing him to place the “Chi-Rho,” Christ’s monogram, on his soldiers' shields. This is why the jersey has a criss-crossed gold pattern with a geometric design that combines the “Chi-Rho” and the phrase “In Hoc Signo Vinces” we mentioned earlier.
Finally, we have the fourth kit- of course there’s a fourth kit! It takes inspiration from the first kit but with a shift in tones.
This jersey also features the famous painting 'The School of Athens' by Raphael, created in 1520 and housed in the Vatican Museums. The painting is displayed in the central band of the jersey, with a contrasting collar and sleeve edges, and a tonal red print across the entire shirt. A luxurious design, truly.
On a technical level, there's not much more to add since we’re dealing with top-quality gear made for the sport, usually with a regular fit and very high quality prints. They’re completely ready for the pitch.
That concludes the breakdown of Boreale’s new jerseys, a true visual marvel, especially for a team from such a modest category. Once again, this speaks volumes about the great work Ezeta is doing with all their designs. An absolute masterpiece, friends.
