The end of the season is approaching and, as always, we are seeing some previews of what the kits will be for the next few seasons. Well, it is the turn of PSG and their new kit, which we have already seen in action, is a return to the style and design of the Parisian team's classic shirts.
In recent years, PSG's kits have moved away from the more classic line with reinterpretations of the team's design and values. This time we have the classic Hechter stripe, designed by French designer Daniel Hechter, who created the kit in 1973, the season in which they were promoted to the top flight and ditched the white of their previous kit. Hechter opted for a red stripe down the middle, framed by two white stripes on either side, and blue for the rest of the shirt.
The team's connection to Paris is once again highlighted and the 'Hectcher' stripe is back in the centre, as requested by many of the French team's fans. There are also details on the collar that feature the Paris flag, and a pattern all over the shirt with a blue background.
On a technical level, we have the best from Nike, which is the Drifit ADV, a technology that incorporates the fabric, which in addition to being largely recycled, helps us stay cool and dry as it does not accumulate sweat and helps maintain an appropriate temperature. The latest technology for Paris fans.
In short, a jersey that goes back to the classics and satisfies the fans, while at the same time giving us all the modernity and sophistication of the latest technologies and fabrics. Now we just have to wait for the next season to see what results the new kit will bring.
