Atlético de Madrid 2025 jerseys
The Atletic Club de Madrid was born on April 26th 1903. At the beginning, the jersey's official colours were blue and white, perhaps that's why they still have blue shorts or its blue away equipment nowadays. On January 22nd 1911 the Atlético de Madrid would radically change their kit to the current red and white stripes. The home kit was a tarpaulin fabric, with laces in the collar and its design standed out for a central white stripe. This was the begining of the nickname "colchoneros", for its similarity to the mattress covers of the time.
