Football boots by Neymar Jr and Michael Jordan. The perfect combination between Nike´s attacking football boot and the Air Jordan, the brand that represents the best basketball player in the history.
Neymar Jr´s popularity amongst the media keeps growing every day. He has been named CR7´s replacement once he starts losing prominence. Designers have already taken advantage of his popularity and have provided the FC Barcelona star with exclusive models on several occasions.
Just like Nike football´s Vicepresident Max Blau says in the video, Neymar does not follow any trends, he creates them both in and off the pitch. He is a person that cares a lot about his style.
Neymar has been key during the designing process for this model. The Nike football team showed Neymar a print with all the Air Jordan models to ask him which one he liked the most, in order to mix it with his boots and the Brazilian player chose the Jordan 5. This model also has that shark´s teeth design just like the Hypervenom.
When Neymar saw the prototype for the first time, the FC Barcelona player told the designers he would like for Jordan´s 23 number to be on the boot as well. We can find that number on the right boot´s outside which is combined with the number 10 on the left boot´s outside. Also the Air Jordan logo is present on both boot´s heels.
If we focus on more technical details, the first thing that calls our attention is the frameworks material. We do not have the NikeSkin form the first generation, but it is not the same one from the second generation either since it shows a flat finish with a texture that adds grip all over the framework.
Jordan´s 23, just like Nerymar´s 10, are embroidered on red and white colours just like the Chicago Bulls. The forked outsole shows a spotted pattern that completely covers the plate with a very aggressive look.
Some important information you should know about. This model will be available on the different Hypervenom lines but the Hypervenom Phantom and Hypervenom Phinish will only be available on June 3rd for 26 hours, so if you want to get them, you must be fast!
