The Blues present their third jersey for the 2018/2019 season, again in collaboration with Nike Football. This shirt includes a design related to its city, in this case London, as we’ve already seen with the Roma, Manchester City and Atlético de Madrid jerseys. However, the novelty is the inclusion of the Nike Connect technology for the first time in a football shirt.
Chelsea’s third jersey for the 2018/2019 season
The Chelsea 2018/2019 tenue presents a sky blue color with a design of blurred horizontal stripes. At first sight it can seem quite a normal pattern, but looking at it again, we can notice the aerial view of Stamford Brige and its surrounding neighbourhoods.
The 201/2019 Chelsea third kit is completed by a pair of sky blue shorts and socks that are sky blue in the top section but blur into an orange hue below.
Nike Connect in the Chelsea 201/2019 shirt
The new Chelsea tenue introduces the Nike Connect technology for the first time, a new way of approaching fans to the core of the squad. Where before was the Authentic label, now we can find a rounded new label featuring the Nike Connect technology. Just with a scan of your smartphone you’ll be able to access to a series of exclusive contents of the club and participate in the creation of a fan jersey.
