First things first: this is not the first exclusive model that adidas and Bad Bunny have joined up to create, as we have had several other instances of their collaborations in recent years. Loyal fans and followers of the trainers world will remember the famous adidas x Bad Bunny Forum and the most recent adidas Gazelle model.
This time, the German brand has decided to unite all those special aesthetics that characterise the exclusive Bad Bunny models with the essence of Leo Messi. The result is a special collection between two stars that has turned out brilliant.
The collection is made up of the specific adidas F50 model that the Argentinian legend wears, as well as the adidas Gazzelle, which also is one of the most court-like boots from the German brand. The base colour is a kind of ochre or bronze, which is very popular within the chromatic range that is currently being used most, mixed with some light blue touches representing the colours of the Argentinian flag.
In his last album, the singer mentions Messi up to 5 times, so it is Messi himself the one delivering the tribute to the artist this time. The slogan on the insole of the boots (as well as on the box) reflect this exchange.
We can see Leo's name on one of the boots , while the other presents the often-seen Benito from previous Bad Bunny's ‘bambas’ collections. There are additional details on the upper and the heel, showing the specific logos and names of these superstars together.
On a technical level, the boot also comes with some surprises. The upper is the exact same one that Messi wears in its modified version, with Hybridtouch tech that has been taken directly from old F50 versions. The burrito tongue also makes an appearance where we can see more light blue detailings in reference to Benito.
This is the new limited edition bombshell coming from the German brand. We're keeping several pairs here at Futbolemotion, although we are certain they'll fly off the shelves in the blink of an eye. Are you going to miss out?
