What does HG mean in a pair of Football Boots?
HG (Hard Ground) Earth or synthetic abrasive terrains
Soles with studs for hard terrains are made with materials that are more resistant to abrasion. For HG soles, rubber or synthetic studs with an important density degree are used in order to prevent the stud from cracking or wearing despite being used over abrasive surfaces.
To potentiate this duration, the number of studs is also increased so the weight received by each one of them is less and erosion is increasingly avoided.
Just like in the rest of soles, HG studs can be conical or bladed according to each brand and model.
